Simposium led the complete operational launch of Uluwatu, a superb Nikkei concept located in the heart of Tenerife. From strategy to execution, every detail was managed to deliver a refined, high-impact dining experience that blends Japanese technique with Peruvian soul.

 

Key responsibilities included:

Operational Structuring: Established full front-of-house and back-of-house systems, ensuring seamless day-to-day service and clear team workflows tailored to the pace and elegance of a Nikkei concept.

Bar & Kitchen Design: Designed and optimised both the kitchen and open bar layout, supporting high-performance à la carte service and elevated cocktail delivery, while respecting the precision required for Nikkei cuisine.

Recruitment and Staffing: Managed end-to-end recruitment for all roles, assembling a passionate, all-Italian team aligned with Uluwatu’s standards of professionalism, creativity, and warmth.

Training & SOP Development: Produced comprehensive SOP manuals and delivered hands-on training for every department, with a strong focus on Japanese service style, food knowledge, wine education, and sequence of service.

Menu Engineering & Drink Strategy: Supported the creation of a contemporary Nikkei menu and an original cocktail list — including a dedicated sakè program — with strategic pricing and upselling mechanisms built in.

Marketing & Launch Strategy: Drove pre-opening campaigns, local engagement, and influencer partnerships. Collaborations with hotels and tour operators were prioritised to ensure visibility from day one.

Service Layout & Guest Flow: Planned guest journey and service station logistics to ensure flow, comfort, and speed — integrating functionality with Uluwatu’s bold, immersive design.

Opening Phases & Soft Launches: Coordinated a phased opening plan: internal simulations, staff-on-staff services, family & friends events, and a high-profile launch for influencers and media.

 

Simposium’s operational leadership and strategic expertise shaped Uluwatu into one of Tenerife’s most exciting restaurant openings — a dynamic Nikkei concept built on precision, creativity, and exceptional guest experience.
